Swim Team

WELCOME (2023)!
Lake Lucerne Swim Club (LLSC) is a summer recreational swim team that strives to foster an environment that encourages kids to do their best, improve swimming skills, practice good sportsmanship, and participate in healthy competition. At the same time, the Club focuses on team camaraderie and family fun as we celebrate the best of living in a lake community. Welcome to the Leeches family. We’re glad to have you with us!

Head Coach: Nadia Greenwald, 440-829-9274
Coach: Kate Hutchison, 216-403-1997

Coordinator Beth Hutchison, 440-708-8840, [email protected]

LLSC is open to all resident swimmers age 18 years or younger as of June 1, 2023. Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards (one length of the swim lanes) unassisted, using one of the four competitive strokes – front crawl (often called freestyle), backstroke, breaststroke, or butterfly.

Swim team is intended to strengthen and further swimming skills and should not be considered swimming lessons.

If your child is confident in the water but not yet ready for swim team, they might be a GUPPY!  GUPPY practices are semi-private, scheduled separately, with one coach/2 guppies for safety. Guppy practices are in 15 minute intervals before Leech practices. Special times might be considered on a case by case basis. Practice sign-up will be sent to all GUPPY parents soon after registration.
